Ruth Morgan Atelier was created as an alternative to the way fashion is so often produced today.

Instead of making large quantities in advance, predicting demand and creating excess stock, every Ruth Morgan Atelier piece is made to order. We produce only what has already found a home.

For us, slow fashion means allowing a garment to take the time it needs. It means respecting the materials, the hands that make it and the person who will eventually wear it. Our pieces are not designed to disappear with a trend or belong to one season. They are made to be worn repeatedly, cared for and kept.

The atelier is named after Ruth Silverman, my grandmother. I never had the chance to meet her, but through the stories passed down by my mother, I came to know her as bold, brilliant and resilient. Ruth Morgan Atelier is my way of carrying that spirit forward, creating pieces with individuality, strength and character at their core.

I am Morgan, a textile designer. After four years of studying Textile Design, I presented my graduate collection, Gardens of Eden, a series of six knitted dresses exploring nature, tradition and modern femininity. That collection became the foundation for the atelier and for the way I wanted to approach fashion moving forward.

Everything begins with the design and ends with a person. No unnecessary stock. No production simply for the sake of filling a warehouse. Each piece exists because someone chose it.

Ruth Morgan Atelier is built around fewer pieces, thoughtful production and the belief that what we wear can still hold meaning.
