About, Values & Experience

About Ruth Morgan Atelier

Ruth Morgan Atelier is a slow fashion, made-to-order crochet and knitwear design house rooted in craftsmanship, sustainability, and individuality. Each piece is created with intention—an antidote to the fleeting pace of fast fashion. We believe in garments that are cherished, not consumed; timeless, not seasonal; and made with values at their heart.

The atelier is named after Ruth Silverman, my grandmother. I never had the chance to meet her, yet I feel a profound connection to her legacy. Through stories from my mother, I have come to know Ruth as bold, brilliant, and resilient—qualities I am told we share. This brand is my way of carrying her spirit forward, honoring her unapologetic individuality and strength.

I am Morgan, a textile designer based in Tel Aviv. After four years of studying Textile Design, I presented my final collection Gardens of Eden—a series of six hand-knitted dresses inspired by nature, tradition, and modern femininity. This body of work laid the foundation for Ruth Morgan Atelier, reflecting both my dedication to craftsmanship and my vision for a slower, more meaningful fashion industry.

For me, slow fashion is not just a method of making—it is a philosophy. It is about sustainability, respect for materials, and the value of human hands. Each garment is made to order, challenging the disposability of mass production and embracing the beauty of time, patience, and detail.

Ruth Morgan Atelier is where modern knitwear meets tradition, where legacy becomes living, and where each piece tells a story—of resilience, values, and care. Follow my journey here
